31 Perfect Halloween Movies for October
Horror movies...I’ve always had an affinity for them.
I blame my dad who took me on my first trip to the movie theater to see Resident Evil when Black Beauty was conveniently not playing at the time we arrived. Outside of elaborate decorations, watching horror movies all October is one of my favorite parts of the fall season. In my youth (I’m 25), my best friend and I were always on the hunt for the scariest movie we could find, and if not, that the most horrible\none we could find. There is certainly a spectrum when it comes to horror movies, and I find both to be quite cathartic. They either send a chill up your spine or are so horrific that’s it’s comedy.
In the list below I’ve included some of my favorites, movies I find genuinely spooky, and some that are just fun to watch for the spectacle of it all.
