South Street Spotlight: Fourth Friday Is Back
Looking for a reason to get out of the house that doesn’t feel like a full-on production?
The South Street Headhouse District is bringing back Fourth Friday, the monthly celebration of local art, food, music, and creativity that takes over the corridor every fourth Friday of the month - featuring all-day specials, pop-ups, and unexpected moments throughout the district.
It’s flexible, creative, and very on-brand for South Street.
What Is Fourth Friday, Exactly?
Fourth Friday is designed to feel easy.
You can:
-
Stop in for a drink or a bite
-
Wander into a gallery or shop
-
Catch live music or a pop-up event
-
Stay for 15 minutes or make a night of it
It’s not an all-or-nothing event. It’s more like a choose-your-own adventure along South Street.
As Eleanor Ingersoll, Executive Director of the South Street Headhouse District, puts it:
“Whether you’re feeling like a couch potato or suffering from cabin fever this winter, we have your antidote - Fourth Fridays in the South Street District.”
