Travel the cobblestone streets of Philadelphia to hear chilling stories about the Spirits of '76 Ghost Tours. This Philadelphia ghost tour begins at 4th and Chestnut in the heart of Old City. The tour provides a "High Definition Haunted Experience" that features over 20 scary sites of Philadelphia’s haunted facts and folklore. Start out at the haunted Bishop White House, where its former occupants and even a mysterious ghost cat walk the halls still. Step over between 5th and 6th streets where the Hag of Pine Street, sometimes referred to as the Witch of Pine Street, is said to haunt the area on a moonlit night. Last but not least is the spooky Old Pine Street Church and Cemetery. Be careful not to step on any headstones while walking through the graveyard.. as you don’t want to upset its residents.

Next stop on our list was featured on the Travel Channel as one of the scariest haunted attractions in America. Visit South Philly’s own “Fright Factory” where the feeling of fright is guaranteed! Inside a 120+ year old factory in the basement. The Basement is 25,000 Sq Ft split into 3 themes. Once you’re in, there’s no time to rest until you make it out. If you make it out! This haunted house is great for those of all ages. Presenting one of their new attractions this year known as “A Christmas Nightmare” where Santa goes bad!

The last Halloween attraction on our list that you can’t miss is known as “Halloween Nights” at the Eastern State Penitentiary! Right off the historic Fairmount Ave, The Eastern State Penitentiary opened its doors over 180 years ago. Known for its grand architecture and strict discipline, the penitentiary housed some of America’s most hardened criminals, including the legendary American gangster Al Capone. The “Halloween Nights” attraction features 4 haunted houses, 1 immersive walk-through experience, 3 live, interactive performances, 4 themes bars and lounges, and 3 opportunities to explore the penitentiary’s cell blocks, history, and relevance today, including the exclusive narration by actor Steve Buscemi! If there was one place you should check out this Halloween, this is the place to come!
